Dear friends of literacy,

As we approach the end of another transformative year, I find myself reflecting on the incredible journey we're undertaking together to change lives in our community through literacy. It's heartening to witness the impact we've made in the lives of those seeking to enhance their reading, writing, English, and computer skills to reach their goals of family well-being, workplace success, GED and U.S. Citizenship achievement, and so much more.

This year has been a testament to the power of learning and the resilience of our community. I am thrilled to share that our dedicated learners have achieved remarkable milestones, thanks to the continued support of our volunteers and donors. Their stories of progress, determination, and success resonate deeply, reminding us of the profound impact that literacy has on individuals, families, and our entire community.

In the spirit of the season and on behalf of the Literacy NRV staff and board of directors, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to YOU - our supporters, volunteers, and partners. Your unwavering commitment to our mission has been the driving force behind our achievements.

As we celebrate the holidays and usher in a new year, let's carry the spirit of learning, compassion, and community with us. The need for our services continues to grow and we have much to do in 2024 as we build a more empowered community together.
